The Stars at Night are big and bright in my beloved home state of Texas. This shawl pays homage to Texas. The Lone Star State has the most beautiful skies, especially at night.

I chose this yarn for its rustic feel (like Texas) and also linen is a perfect fiber in the hot Texas summers.

I used the Filet crochet technique. It is pretty easy to follow. Instead of having to read endless rows of instructions, Filet crochet uses diagrams. Each open space is formed by a double crochet and a chain 2. Each closed block
is formed by 3 double crochet.
Odd-numbered rows read right to left. And even-numbered rows read left to right.

I used about 1 1/4 skeins.

You may not use my photos or copy, sell or distribute my pattern. You may sell a finished product but, please include JustHandcrafts in the credits.

Thank you and have a great day!
